Where do you get your inspirations and influences?

"A lot of my influences come from my childhood toys and images/objects that I have collected over the years. I also get a lot of my ideas from everyday stuff I see around me, like a piece of fruit or something I saw on the street.

I am bit of a packrat so I love to collect books, fabrics, stationery and cool images from magazines so a lot of my ideas comes from that as well. However, I have toned it down a bit since its have gotten to be a little crazy. "

Where did the name Nanamation come from?

"The name Nanamation was something my husband Tim came up with when I started in 2004. I really liked the name and it just kinda stuck with me. "

What do you do besides Nanamation?

When I am not working on Nanamation characters, I enjoy crocheting, baking, reading, watching movies with my husband, going on walks with my dog-Momo and of course trying to be a good mom to my son."
